The lightcraft is incorporated with many auxiliary systems. The main one of these is the maglev lander. The lander can be used to transport people to and from the ship proper or to resupply the coolant system with water. When not in use it neatly fits into the hole at the center of the ship. There is also a maglev belt used for transporting crew members to and from the ship without the encumberances of the larger maglev lander.
